ABC Stores Open on May 28 Furlough Day; Central Office and Regional Offices Will Close

RICHMOND – The Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) central and regional offices will be closed on Friday, May 28 for a state required furlough day.

ABC stores will be open during normal hours on May 28 to provide continuous customer service and avoid interruption of store operations. ABC store associates will take the state furlough day scheduled for May 28 on a staggered schedule.

Commonwealth of Virginia employees will be taking a furlough day on May 28 with the intent to reduce expenses and meet the state budget.
