Harrisonburg ABC Store Will Close for Remodeling

The Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) announced that the Harrisonburg ABC store located at 398 N. Main Street will close temporarily on March 13th at 5 p.m. for remodeling. The store will reopen on Saturday, March 27th at 10 a.m.

The Harrisonburg store, along with other recently remodeled stores, balances creativity with functionality by considering visual appeal as well as security, maintenance and accessibility for the disabled. The newly designed store will feature enhanced shelving allowing for increased product selection to meet market demand.

A major source of revenue for Virginia, ABC has contributed more than $1.5 billion to the commonwealth in the last five years. The agency currently operates 333 state stores, and its Bureau of Law Enforcement oversees more than 15,000 ABC licensed establishments.
