ABC Stores Will Operate Regular Hours on President's Day

The Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) stores will be open President's Day, Monday, February 15, 2010.

A major source of revenue for Virginia, ABC has contributed more than $1.5 billion to the commonwealth in the last five years. The agency currently operates 333 state stores, and its Bureau of Law Enforcement oversees nearly 16,000 ABC licensed establishments. ABC also provides alcohol education and prevention programs to citizens throughout the state. Virginia ABC remains committed to progress and innovation in carrying out its control, service and revenue mission.
