“Is This the Memory?,” a 30-second public service announcement (PSA) that cautions older adults about mixing alcohol with medications, was developed by Virginia ABC and the Alcohol and Aging Awareness Group (AAAG), and funded by the Virginia Beer Wholesalers Association (VBWA). It aired in the Richmond and Roanoke markets during the holiday season, and in the Harrisonburg market during April 2012 for Alcohol Awareness Month.
